Our verdict

Watchdata, the token's maker, offers no driver download, so we link to the Token Drivers page of (n)Code Solutions, a Certifying Authority licensed by India's CCA. ProxKey normally installs its tool from the token itself; use the download when autorun is blocked or you need a newer driver, and pick the FIPS-2 or FIPS-3 package that matches your token.

FAQ

Why isn't this downloaded from Watchdata?

Watchdata's website offers no driver or support downloads. (n)Code Solutions is a Certifying Authority licensed by India's CCA (listed on cca.gov.in) and hosts the ProxKey drivers on its Token Drivers page.

FIPS-2 or FIPS-3 — which package do I need?

(n)Code lists separate Windows packages labelled FIPS-2 (WD_PROXKey_new.zip) and FIPS-3 (WD_PROXKey-7-0-1.rar). Choose the one that matches your token; if you are unsure, ask the Certifying Authority that issued your DSC.
