No hidden steps
How we check every download
The same steps apply to every program and driver on ToolsBharat.
Official download page only
Every listing links to the publisher's own official download page. We confirm the publisher's domain before a program is published.
Link and version checked
We check that the download link works and that the version we list matches the one on the publisher's own site.
The developer's hash, when published
If the developer publishes a SHA-256 hash for the installer, we show it so you can compare it with the file you downloaded. If they don't publish one, we don't show one.
Never hosted, mirrored or repackaged
We never host, mirror or repackage files. You always get the publisher's original installer, straight from their site.
Update checks, then human review
A checker reads each publisher's official GitHub releases or the community winget manifests (only when the installer link is on the publisher's own domain). New versions wait in a review queue and a person reviews each one — nothing is published automatically.
Some version data comes from the winget-pkgs community repository (github.com/microsoft/winget-pkgs), MIT License.
What we don't do
We don't test, scan or verify files ourselves, so only run software you trust. To see who signed an installer, right-click the file → Properties → Digital Signatures.
What we never list
- Cracked, pirated, keygen, “activator”, patched or modded software
- “Free download” of paid software
- Download managers, wrappers, bundled offers or toolbars
- Modified drivers — India Hub drivers come only from device makers and government portals
- Fake ratings, review counts or download counters
