Our verdict
A no-cost OpenJDK distribution with no licence strings for commercial use, and one of the few with native Windows on Arm installers. Microsoft publishes MSI, EXE and ZIP builds for every current LTS release, each with a SHA-256 file. A good choice for Minecraft modding, Android tooling or Java coursework when you want a free JDK from a known vendor. Java 8 isn't offered; Microsoft points to Eclipse Temurin for that.
