It shares and verifies Aadhaar credentials with face authentication, updates mobile number and address, and locks or unlocks biometrics. It binds to the SIM of your Aadhaar-linked mobile number and refuses to run while Android Developer Options are on.

1Install 'Aadhaar' by UIDAI from the Google Play or App Store link on UIDAI's Aadhaar App FAQ.
2On Android, turn off Developer Options first.
3Allow camera, SMS and phone permissions and keep the Aadhaar-linked SIM in the phone.
4Verify with OTP and face authentication to finish setup.

1Turn off Developer Options (Settings → Developer options → Off) — UIDAI says the app will not work while it is on.
