Our verdict

For photographers who want to browse RAW files from a DSLR or mirrorless camera without opening an editor. The free extension adds thumbnails and previews for many RAW formats in File Explorer and the Photos app, and Microsoft's listing notes that the current version supports Canon CR3. It's for viewing only; editing still needs a tool like darktable or RawTherapee.
