Our verdict
Mausam puts the India Meteorological Department's own observations, forecasts, radar images and warnings on your phone, the same products that appear on mausam.imd.gov.in. It's useful when you want the official IMD alert for your district rather than a third-party forecast. IMD's website links both store listings. The Android listing appears under the developer name 'IMD - AAS' and the iOS listing under India Meteorological Department. The app was built with ICRISAT and IITM under MoES's Monsoon Mission. There is no Windows app; on a PC use the IMD website.
