Needed for Aadhaar authentication with the MFS110 L1 on CSC, AePS and banking portals. Mantra's download portal asks you to register with your mobile number and an OTP first. Never install 'patched' RD services shared on WhatsApp or YouTube.

Windows: Windows 10 and later

1Open mantratec.com/Download/User and choose Aadhaar authentication → MFS110 (L1) → RD Service.
2Register with your name, email and mobile number, then enter the OTP to unlock the downloads.
3Download both the MFS110 driver and the Windows RD Service. Install the driver first.
4Right-click the RD Service installer, choose 'Run as administrator' and finish the setup.
5Plug the scanner into a rear USB port and check that the RD service shows 'Ready'.

1Plug the device into a different rear USB port — avoid USB hubs and front ports.
2Press Win+R, type services.msc, find the device's RD service and click Restart.
3Check your PC's date and time. A wrong clock stops the service from validating.
4Check whether your RD subscription has expired — after the first year, renewal is paid (Mantra Servico).
5Still not ready? Uninstall, restart the PC and reinstall the driver, then the RD service, from mantratec.com.

FAQ

MFS100 or MFS110 — which do I have?

Check the label under the scanner. MFS110 is the L1 model. MFS100 is an L0 device; UIDAI set the L0 sunset at 30 June 2025 (or the device certificate's expiry, if earlier), and Mantra no longer lists an RD service for it.

Is the Mantra RD service free?

Mantra's product page says the device includes a 1-year RD service subscription and that renewal is chargeable. Renewals are handled through Mantra's Servico helpdesk.
