Our verdict

The ABHA app is the National Health Authority's own app for the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. You create an ABHA address (username@abdm), link it to your 14-digit ABHA number to become KYC-verified, and then pull lab reports and prescriptions from linked hospitals and share them with a doctor only after you give consent. It is a different app from the Ayushman App, which is for the PM-JAY Ayushman card. There is no Windows app; on a PC use abha.abdm.gov.in.

1Install 'ABHA' from Google Play or 'ABHA ABDM' from the App Store and check that the publisher is National Health Authority.
2Register with your mobile number, email ID or ABHA number and verify the OTP.
3Choose an ABHA address (username@abdm) and link it to your 14-digit ABHA number to become KYC-verified.
4Link your hospitals or labs to see records, and approve or revoke each consent request from the app.
